Bay Area Coffee Shop Owner Mysteriously Vanishes

BREAKING:  SCSO LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON AMY HILLYARD

Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office officials are asking the public to be on the lookout for an Oakland woman who has been reported missing and may be in the Mount Shasta or Weed area.

According to the sheriff’s office, Amy Hillyard is a 52-year-old woman who is 5-foot-4, weighs 120 pounds, and has blonde hair and hazel eyes. She is considered at risk due to a medical condition.

Amy Hillyard, 52, a beloved Bay Area Coffee Shop owner has been missing since March 25, 2026.  Amy, co-owner of Farley’s Coffee in San Francisco and Oakland, was last seen in surveillance footage walking her dog near Dimond Park around 4:30pm in Oakland. 

Amy Hillyard had breakfast with her husband, Chris, on the day she disappeared before he took her to a therapy appointment in Walnut Creek.  Amy texted him around 1:40 p.m. saying she was home, then walked their dog and spoke to a neighbor.  Around 3:15 p.m., Chris returned to find her phone, keys, wallet, and handbag on the kitchen counter, with the back door open.

Hillyard, who was recovering from anxiety and depression, was on medication and attending therapy at the time.

The family has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to her safe return.  Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Oakland Police Dept., Missing Persons Unit at 510-238-3641.

Amy is 5’4, 120 lbs.  Amy has blond hair and hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, light-colored jeans, white sneakers with black stripes.
